Singapore – February 26-28, 2025 – T&S Optical Technology made its debut at the Asia Photonics Expo (APE) 2025, presenting a suite of advanced optical connectivity solutions designed for next-generation data centers and AI infrastructure.

Among the featured products was T&S's newly developed Shutter LC Duplex Adapter, which offers improved reliability for mission-critical connections. The company also demonstrated its high-fiber-count Shuffle flex circuit, capable of managing complex fiber routing in space-constrained environments. Visitors showed particular interest in the 400G AEC active optical cables optimized for AI server clusters, as well as the latest high-density fiber distribution systems making their first appearance outside China.

    R&D Expansion Supports Emerging Technologies

The rapid growth of AI computing has driven significant changes in optical connectivity requirements. T&S has responded by increasing its research and development investment over the years. This strategic focus has yielded several technological advancements. The company's latest interconnect solutions demonstrate measurable performance improvements.

    Global Manufacturing Footprint Expands

Construction of T&S's first overseas production facility in Vietnam remains on schedule, with the 8,000-square-meter plant expected to begin pilot operations in April 2025. The new manufacturing base will initially add production capacity, strengthening T&S's ability to serve customers across the Asia-Pacific, European, and North American markets. This expansion reflects the company's commitment to meeting growing global demand while enhancing supply chain resilience.

Southeast Asia Market Shows Strong Potential

Industry analysts noted increased activity in Southeast Asia's optical communications sector during APE 2025, with attendance by data center operators rising 42% compared to the previous year. T&S reported strong interest in its solutions throughout the three-day event, with all demonstration slots fully booked weeks in advance. The company sees particular opportunity in supporting the region's developing hyperscale data center projects and modular fiber infrastructure deployments.

With more than two decades of experience in precision optical engineering, T&S continues to expand its portfolio of connectivity solutions for optical communication applications. The company maintains research and development centers in Shenzhen, combining global expertise with localized manufacturing capabilities.
