T&S Acquires AuspChip Technologies to Strengthen Silicon-Wafer Supply Chain

    On August 7, 2017, T&S completed the acquisition of 100% equity in AuspChip Technologies Co., Ltd., a move that significantly enhances its control over key raw materials for PLC splitters. ACT, previously owned by Shenzhen Anpeng, has long been a vital supplier to T&S, specializing in the development, production, and marketing of PLC silicon wafers.


    With mature production techniques, experienced management, and large-scale batch production capabilities, ACT's core strengths align perfectly with T&S's growth strategy. The acquisition of ACT allows T&S to secure a stable supply of PLC silicon wafers, a critical component for PLC splitters. By integrating ACT's resources into its operations, T&S aims to strengthen its production capacity, optimize its cost structure, and enhance its competitiveness in the highly competitive market for PLC splitters and other optical connectivity products.
