Our History

The origins of T&S date back to 1992 with the establishment of its predecessor, HNK, a Sino-Japanese joint venture founded by Jimmy Chang and a Japanese partner.

Pioneering engineers from HNK established T&S Trading Co., laying the groundwork for future development and growth.

T&S Trading Co. evolved into T&S Communications, marking a major milestone in the company's journey. During the same year, the company imported its first ferrule production line from Japan, enhancing its manufacturing capabilities.

T&S achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification, underscoring its commitment to quality management. Additionally, the company imported an FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) production line from Canada, diversifying its product offerings.

T&S established a dedicated FBT (Fused Biconical Taper) coupler production line, further strengthening its product portfolio.

PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) splitter production lines were launched, significantly enhancing production efficiency and capacity.

T&S was recognized as a "National High-tech Enterprise," highlighting its commitment to technological innovation and industry leadership.

T&S began supplying MPO/MTP® assemblies to North American data centers, marking a breakthrough in its global market expansion.

The company renewed its ISO 9001 certification to the 2008 version, demonstrating its adherence to evolving quality management standards.

T&S went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE: 300570), marking a significant milestone in its corporate development and opening new opportunities for growth.

T&S expanded its business through two strategic acquisitions: AuspChip Technologies Co., Ltd. in August and Jingdezhen Hechuan Powder Technology Co., Ltd. in December, bolstering its technological capabilities and product offerings.

The T&S Hi-tech Park became operational, serving as a key hub for research, development, and large-scale production.

T&S established "TASLO," a Sino-Japanese joint venture, further strengthening its international collaboration. In the same year, the company achieved ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) certifications, reflecting its commitment to sustainable and safe business practices.

T&S celebrated its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of innovation, growth, and excellence in the optical communications industry.

T&S's first overseas production facility, Scitech, commenced operations, marking a major step forward in the company's global operation strategy.
