Engineered for cost-effective wavelength combining in X/C-band networks, T&S’s 1310/1550nm FWDM delivers 0.4dB typical insertion loss with 40dB isolation between channels at 1310/1550nm, minimizing Rayleigh backscattering in bidirectional transceivers. The monolithic micro-optic design features <0.1° angular misalignment through active alignment bonding, compatible with Corning SMF-28 Ultra, G.657A1/A2 fibers. With a compact 5.5×38mm or 5.5x34mm form factor, it is deployed in 5G fronthaul DU-AAU links, SDH/SONET regenerators, and enterprise dark fiber wavelength reuse projects.
