Product Description of 16F MT Ferrule

T&S’s 16-core MT ferrules are available in both PC (Physical Contact) and APC (Angled Physical Contact) endface configurations, offering flexible solutions for a wide range of optical fiber connections. Engineered with durable Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) thermoplastic, these ferrules provide precise alignment and reliable termination for 125μm optical fibers.

PC Endface: Ideal for general-purpose connections in telecom networks, data centers, and high-performance computing environments, supporting data transmission rates from 10G to 400G. The PC endface ensures low insertion loss and high return loss performance, making it suitable for most standard optical communication applications.

APC Endface: Designed for applications where reduced back reflection is critical, the APC endface offers a precise angle to minimize optical return loss (ORL), making it ideal for high-performance systems that require better signal integrity, such as in long-haul communication, fiber optic sensing, and CATV (Cable TV) networks.

Both configurations, available in single-mode and multimode options, are engineered to deliver excellent performance and stability even in demanding environments. The 16-core MT ferrules ensure reliable, high-density optical connections, providing optimal performance in medium to high-density applications.
