Product Description of 12 Fiber MPO/UPC Standard Female Loopback - 50/125µm Multimode OM3

T&S MPO Loopbacks are essential for fiber optic testing, providing a looped signal to verify both transmission and reception, particularly in 40G/100G parallel optics networks. Their development has significantly enhanced testing efficiency in the telecom sector.

By looping a transceiver’s output back to its input, MPO Loopbacks enable bi-directional data verification for 40G/100G SR4/SR10 interfaces, streamlining qualification and certification processes.

Available in Standard and Low Loss versions, T&S MPO Loopbacks can be customized for fiber arrangement, gender, and fiber type (singlemode or multimode OM1, OM3, OM4). They comply with TIA-568 standards, with singlemode variants meeting ITU-T G.652.D (tested at 1310/1550nm) and multimode versions adhering to TIA-492AAAD (OM4) and TIA-492AAAC-B (OM3), tested at 850/1300nm. Various housing color options and custom designs are available.

Widely used in data centers, campus networks, OTN, PON, and Optical DTS monitoring systems, MPO Loopbacks simplify testing, improve troubleshooting, and enhance network certification. Paired with modern test devices, they optimize fiber optic network performance.
