Occupational Health and Safety

T&S complies with all relevant occupational health and safety laws and regulations, establishing a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management system. We actively seek employee feedback and, with reference to the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System standard, have developed the EHS Management Manual and a series of procedural documents. These efforts aim to promote safe production and occupational health comprehensively, ensuring that safety and environmental risks remain under continuous control.

As a responsible manufacturing enterprise, T&S places a high priority on occupational safety. We have established a safety management framework where the General Manager serves as the primary safety accountability officer, and department managers act as the first responders for fire safety within their respective departments. Safety responsibility is assigned at every level,  and ensure safety responsibilities are assigned to each person.

Our approach involves ongoing identification of potential hazards and risk assessments throughout all positions, work areas, and production activities. To achieve effective risk control, we utilize tools such as job risk notification cards, clearly defined area responsibilities, and standardized operating procedures. We encourage each factory to actively engage in risk detection and reporting. Reported risks are promptly verified, rectified, and addressed, with a clear system for rewards and penalties.

The Administration Department oversees the reporting of near-miss incidents during production to prevent accidents at the source. We place a strong emphasis on safety risk prevention and control.

Emergency Response and Occupational Hazard Prevention

T&S strictly adheres to laws and regulations regarding emergency response. We have developed emergency response plans for accidents and ensured the proper allocation of firefighting equipment as required by regulations. To strengthen preparedness, we conduct two fire drills each year, ensuring that all employees are equipped with emergency evacuation skills.

We conduct regular assessments and testing of occupational disease hazard factors, enabling a comprehensive understanding of potential occupational disease impacts. In response, we implement protective measures such as:

  • Soundproof building materials to reduce noise exposure.

  • Separate layout of noisy and non-noisy workstations.

  • Vibration-damping pads installed at the base of high-noise auxiliary production equipment.

  • Periodic occupational health examinations for employees.

  • Posting occupational hazard notification cards to raise awareness.

  • Provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees exposed to occupational hazards.

These measures aim to reduce the impact of occupational hazards on employees' health.

We maintain a registry for special equipment and ensure it is regularly inspected. Employees responsible for handling such equipment are required to hold valid operation certificates to guarantee safe and efficient operation.

T&S is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

T&S remains dedicated to promoting health and safety, protecting employees from workplace risks, and fostering a sustainable, healthy working environment.
