Product Description of Non-contact MTP Trunk Cable, 24F, MTP/APC/Male-MTP/APC/Female, G657A1 Single Mode, Riser (OFNR), 0.35dB max, Type B, Yellow, Patch cord

The structure and components of contactless MPO optical fiber connectors are very similar to traditional contact-type MPO connectors. The main difference lies in the fiber end face, which is positioned lower than the ferrule end face, and both are coated with an anti-reflection layer. This design ensures there is no physical contact between the optical fibers when the connectors are mated, expanding the transmission area of the optical signal. As a result, the connector operates in optimal conditions, delivering lower insertion loss, higher return loss, and a longer service life.
